Live pause on Sky Q box and mini

I am considering Sky Q to replace my ageing Sky Plus box, distributing throughout the house using RF2.. We are able to watch Live pause throughout the house on all TVs at the same time in this setup.

Question - Would I be able to Live pause the program on the Sky Q box and also watch it simultabeously on a TV linked to a Mini box?

If the answer is no then SKY Q wont be suitable and I will stick with the current RF2 setup.

No;  there is no guarantee that minis will be in exact sync with the main Q box when watching the same live content.  There are inherant delays as the Mini is connected by WiFi and can buffer content.   However Recordings if being played on any Q box can be paused or stopped and picked up on another box.   If you are using multiple minis and stopping and starting on more than two boxes this will be unpredicable.

You watch the same or different content simultaneously on the main box are two minis but the playback is completely independent.  You can watch the same recorded content at different points on each box (ie pause one without affecting the others but they will never be completely in sync)

If the answer is no then SKY Q wont be suitable and I will stick with the current RF2 setup.

As I'm sure you are aware there is no RF on Q boxes.
