Mine has just fixed itself. Got an email from sky just now confirming the Subscription then I could do the registration

Use voice remote to open app by saying lionsgate, there is an option to access via a code on the web make sure you also go to https://www.lionsgateplus.com/activate and enter the code presented on your SkyQ, Stream puck or Glass screen.

 

You will need to make sure you're signed up 1st,  once created  a login & password and you're signed in ignore the payments setup and instead use the link above while logged in.

 

You should now have access.

@Aanire  You can if you do it via th elionsgate website, have you tried that 1st?  I have just done that myself.

@GD1 when I  follow your link and out in the activation code, it asks me to sign up for a free trial. I have already done this through my Sky Q box.

Same here, the QR code doesn't work nor does the sky.com/lionsgateplus-activate page.

I am now sorted.

Couldn't do it using the app scanning process on my sky Q box, but it worked just now going to https://www.sky.com/lionsgateplus-activate after having logged into my Sky account in the browser. It then said it was activating my account, followed by a page asking for my email address and a new password. Then it was a case of opening the Lionsgate app on my TV, choosing login and scanning the Lionsgate QR code..

 

at least I think that that was the sequence. of events,  there were quite a few stages!

Same issue here...

 

I tried creating an account on Lionsgate+, then returning to sky.com, logging in and trying the activation link again but no joy for me.

 

Just spent 30 mins on the phone to Sky. They initially suggested the problem lies with Lionsgate+, but when I mentioned that the payment seemed to be made via Sky Marketplace they mentioned that there is currently a problem on Sky Marketplace that is preventing purchases from completing. They apparently have a team looking into this but no indication of what the problem is or when it will be resolved.

 

Sounds like we'll need to wait this out until that issue has been resolved & then try again. Hope that's helpful...

@drs66 i thought I was sorted too, I kinda went this route too, but when I go to actually play something it doesn't work, says something about a 7 day trial.  Can u actually watch something?

@GD1 I did it that route, thought I had it sorted as it looked like both were linked but when trying to play something I get a pop up about activating a 7 day trial.  Have u actually tried to watch something?

I too have been having issues with this from last night. This just worked for me. I had to go via my skyq box to mysky-your products-app subs then lionsgate+ and cancel subscription. It then says my 3month trial is running with an end date of Oct 28. I then received an email from sky saying I had chose the 3month trial. Then went through the initial instructions to get access to the offer. I think the main part to get it working was to cancel subscription but who knows! Hopefully this helps.

@atlasbodine Glad that you've managed to get yours to work.

I just tried that (via My Products in SkyQ) and on cancelling got an error message: "We'll be back soon. Something went wrong, but we're working on this. Please try again later. MYSKY_4999"
