Lack of signal
Builders have erected scaffolding for essential work, this is blocking the signal.it is going to take a few weeks to do the work, which means we will be unable to watch any programmes , I don't want to be paying for a service I can't use !

Re: Lack of signal
@Blockedsignal Unfortunately, Sky will say you can still use Sky Go to view programmes. It's not their fault builders have interrupted your service.

Re: Lack of signal
You will be able to watch recorded programmes and use apps on the box until the 'keep alive' timeout (which is delivered by satellite) is lost and the box becomes a brick until fully reconnected.
As noted, it's not Sky's fault and are unlikely to credit in these circumstances.
If possible, you may wish to consider having your dish moved (at your expense) by a local firm. (And back again once the scaffolding is removed)
Sky may be able to do it, also chargeable - but it may be quicker for a local firm.
