Keeping sky tv recordings
Hi. My son is 4 years old and autistic. He is also non verbal and seeks sensory stimulation from certain adverts and programmes that we started recording back in 2021 for him. The order of the adverts and programmes are extremely important to him, I cannot really begin to describe how important it is that we keep these recordings for him. However we are now emigrating to Australia as my fiancé has been offered a job that he cannot refuse as it will provide such a better life for our son with educational assistance and speech and language / communication skills etc.
So my question is... how can we take the recordings to Australia with us so he can watch them over there? I have tried to make my own version by loading everything in the same order on YouTube but not all advert versions are on YouTube. I have also tried recording a video of the tv screen for hours onto his tablet but it's just not the same quality so he won't watch it.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated more than you can imagine! Thank you in advance 🙂

Re: Keeping sky tv recordings
Getting the digital versions copied is not possible (not without possibly visiting some places on the internet I'd rather not go)
Your best bet is to film the TV with a very high quality camera like a decent DSLR / Mirrorless on a tripod and maybe also capture the audio separately via the optical output which isn't encrypted but will need hardware that can do it, and then bring those both together on a PC.
