I had this on my mini box, but 99% sure it is because of the issue here - https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Q/Sky-Q-No-Internet-Connection-with-Virgin-Media-Broadband/td-p/426... - which is affecting my (and many other people's) main sky box.
Try changing the DNS settings as per post 33 of that thread and you might get a fix for the mini? (I've yet to get home to be able to try this)
Might save you an engineer call-out
