Just received a new Q box and can’t get it to connect
Received a new Q box but can only get the screen check device power
the remote also not working with the box

@Roy25 The message check device power is a TV nmessage, have you selected the correct HDMI input?

Hi @Roy25
Make sure that the the Television set is set to the correct HDMI input that the Q box is using.
Then reboot the Q
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
If you find the Q remote does not respond press and hold 7 & 9 on the remote until it's led flashes four times.
This will set the remote to infrared mode which will work all boxes in line of site.
Remember to point the remote at the Q box as it needs direct line of sight in infrared
If you can get Q box working then repair the remote by pressing 1 & 3 and following onscreen instructions.
