Jerky picture quality and juddering sound quality
Whenever I switch the tv on the picture is jerky and the sound is muffled and crackly. When I do a hard power cycle it sorts itself out. I shouldn't hav3 to do this as often as I do. Is anyone else having these problems. Using a lg tv with sky soundbox

I'm using an LG TV and Sky Soundbox and do not have these issues.
Have you any other HDMI cables you can try?

We always say a power cycle cures most ills, but not always permanently!
To be honest, it could be a number of things but trying alternative HDMI cables or even a different port on the TV are going to be the cheapest so start there.
My LG is from 2016 and it has had it's moments where there are problems with ports or other hardware. The WiFi no longer works for example.
