It has suddenly become very slow to move around the tv menu.
If I press Home, I have to wait a few seconds before pressing Recordings otherwise no response. Same when I try and move within the Recordings sub menu.
Same when I try and type in a channel number to select that channel - I have to wait a few seconds between typing the individual numbers.
Essentially after each 'key stroke' there is no response to the next key stroke for a few seconds

Re: It has suddenly become very slow to move around the tv menu.
Firstly try rebooting your router (turn off for a minute then start up again. Then try a reboot of the main Sky Q box, then once that’s back up and running do the same with any mini boxes if necessary-
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button

Thank you Daniel for the possible solution. Unfortunately it has not made any difference but thank you anyway

Hi @Chris284
Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

Re: It has suddenly become very slow to move around the tv menu.
Hi Oldfella
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I was a bit intimidated - I'm sure unnecessarily - and just left things alone for an hour.
When I switched on again, the problem had gone so I assume that Daniel's suggestion (re-booting the modem as well as the box) did work. For some reason it didn't work instantly, maybe just needed a couple of minutes to fully reset.
But thank you very much for taking time out to help - very much appreciated.
Chris
