You don't need to. The box will reclaim the disk space from deleted programmes as/when it needs to.

Only one at a time unfortunately @Gaz4jane

(In Recordings - Manage - Deleted).

If you want to keep the Deleted section empty then it's best to do this on a regular basis.

Here I go into the section before I shut down in the evening and Delete forever everything deleted that day.

Is not necessary to do as Sky Q housekeeping will start deleting content ftom this section first if more space is needed.
