Is it possible to go straight to live tv when sky box is turned on rather than to the tv guide.

Asking for my elderly father who is trying to get used to the new sky box.

Is it at all possible to just go straight to live tv/full screen when sky box swithced on.

In other words to bypass the blue menu screen with the mini tv altogether.

Any tips will help

I don't believe there is, sorry.

He can immediately hit the back button on the remote though to clear the Home Screen.

@sander1 as @Daniel0210 says if he presses the dismiss button on the remote straight after turning the box on then it should go to live TV but he does need to remember to press the dismiss button
