In Settings says problem with network connections at the side is an x

I cannot get into my appts or connect or us my voice remote control. On the Home setting the  information says No programmes are currently being broadcast on this channel. I can get channels on TV guide and record as usual. In my are this weekend others have had problems with sky and internet down. My internet has now been restored but i have still the above problems.

Hi @Linda553

First reset your broadband router.
If on Sky broadband hold the Reset on the back of the router until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
If on 3rd party broadband and your router does not have a reset button, reboot it by disconnecting the power lead for 30 secs and then reconnecting.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router
If you are on Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

Exactly what happened when you carried out the Network reset on the main Q box @Linda553 ?

After nothing happened green light on router went out and then back to the information on screen saying, Unsuccessful connection Please try again, or you may need to connect a Sky Q Booster.

hi @Linda553

If you are trying to WPS then I assume you are on Sky Broadband.

If so then the WPS light on the router will flash Amber not Green.

ie

  1. Hold the WPS button on your booster for 3 seconds until it flashes amber. Then hold the WPS button on the front of your hub for 3 seconds until it flashes amber - You'll need to do it within 2 minutes.
  2. After a few minutes, the connected light will turn green. You're all set up.

If you are on Sky Broadband then WPS button on router is shown below.
