Impossible to speak to anyone who knows what they are doing

Hi,

I have now been without access to channel 4 or bbc live channels for a month.  An engineer is booked to come today and I just called up to ask for confirmation that they are definitely coming and was passed through 3 departments before getting someone who said that 'I need to be patient'.  I am not sure what has gone on with sky customer service over the last few years, but it is literally impossible to get anyone who knows what they are doing.  I have been with Sky for 17 years and this did not used to be the case.  I am honestly at my wits' end and think I will need to cancel the service and switch to another provider.

By calling on the day of an appointment, the agents won't be able to give you any estimate on when the engineer may arrive. It will depend if they are detained at a previous job.

Sky Group ceased to be an independent company in late 2018 when it was purchased by the Comcast Corporation, an enormous American cable television, entertainment and media business.
