I have tried and Tried and TRIED to ring SKY to cancel. Once they know I wish to cancel they put me on hold and leave me there . They stop talking . It's a tactic. DONT say I have to ring to cancel ...I KNOW !!! They stop dealing with me when they know I wish to cancel.
so tell me ....WHAT do I do to cancel. I'm well out of contract
DONT say e mail ..,it comes back Mailor Demon cannot deliver . SKY are beyond words to describe their methods. Even their mail address doesn't work. Their help sites are tailored for them not the customer Absolutely appalling service.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Dogbeach Sky don;t use email as a form of commu ication, you will need to call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/home/your-account/my-account-and-subscription/cancelling/cancel-my-subscrip...
Scroll down to the Contact Us section, select I need more help, all the relevant options to contact Sky will be provided.
You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.
If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.

Why would I want SKY mobile ??? I want shut of SKY. After 14 years I have been used as a cash cow ....the massive increases kept from me for months . The excuse I have been given of contacts ending and new time lines unacceptable.
ALL SkY contact info is aimed at making sure SKY get your money efficiently and NOT dealing with complaints.
I will ring once more and record the conversation ...I will use it as proof I'm trying to cancel but being thwarted . I am also contacting a legal rep for advice .
if I receive warning letters from SKY as a result of them not cancelling my subscription (I am cancelling direct debit at source ) I will in turn take steps for a considerable counter claim.

To cancel all your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.
If you are cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period. Obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.
