I’ve already returned my Sky TV equipment

I cancelled my Sky tv as I left the UK and returned my equipment a month ago. But I've just received a text from Sky saying they've sent me packaging to return my equipment as my service has just been switched off. I don't want to make an international call to Sky as it will cost me a fortune to hold for typically 30 mins. I have proof of postage which I'm happy to share with Sky by chat but can only get a chat bot which doesn't answer my issue.

Please clarify… are Sky chasing you for the return of the equipment or just saying they've sent packaging? The return packaging is normally sent out near the end of your notice period (31 days for Sky Q equipment).

They sent text saying they are sending out packaging. But they already sent out packaging when I cancelled but I couldn't wait for it to arrive as I was travelling so I boxed up and sent via post office with note of equipment and my account number. So Inwould have hoped they would have noted the return against my account rather than sending out packaging again

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
