I recently had a new broadband fitted with BT and was having problems viewing my sky services .

Hi, I recently had a new fibre optic broadband fitted with BT and couldn't watch my sky services so needed a sky engineer to come out and try to fix the problem. Two engineers tried to fix it together and although we resolved part of the problem it wasn't completely resolved and I have been left with a remote that can change channels but not control the volume.

Please advise.

Hi @Angpaul1994

Do you know if they tried to completely reset the remote?

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Remote can easily be repaired to telly, just hold down 1 and 3 together pointing at the box and follow the on screen instructions for remote setup. As for the new internet it may be worth turning 2.4 ghz capacity off on boxes further away from router, keaving 1, the closest box on. If there are bt dizcs near any sky devices, move them away. As well as other mesh devices lije alexa, hive, firesticks etc.
