I plugged in my new sky a mini box to my tv but nothing is happening

My remote has battery's but the box isn't connecting to my tv

Hi @sligofarm 

Try pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

What didn't work.

Is the Mini box on with green LED?

It's has been on green and orange when I pressed 7&9 then 1&3 to pair it and nothing happens

Hi @sligofarm 

It needs to be on green when you try to pair the remote.

Also if you have a green led on the mini you must sure that the Television set is switched to the correct HDMI input.  ie the HDMI input that is connected to the Mini

Hi @sligofarm 

And is the led Green on the mini?
And have you made sure the Television set is also switched to HDMI 1?    If you are not sure use the TV set remote to cycle slowly through all the inputs.
