I had one of the early sky Q boxes and had to pay £99 for my second mini box, now I have cancelled my mini boxes they want them back, do they have to refund my £99

Glad I'll be leaving after 25 years plus, what a con, sky have absolutely no loyalty towards long term customers. Hope they are losing customers by the thousands

@Dawnieg It's not a con, it's very clear in the T & C's, if you don't read them that doesn't change the model Sky use.

Sky have alway said that all Q boxes are only loaned to you and must be returned to Sky and as @GD1 says you agreed to this when you accepted the T&C's
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

This is why it never pays to be an early adopter, always better to wait until thhe charges drop and let others sort the bugs out.

Q has been around since February 2016 and there's never been any sign that the fees will disappear. £49 for self install and £99 for Sky attendance (typically required for the first Mini) has always been the case.

I got it very early. I remember paying more for my upgraded 2TB Q Silver but don't recall any charge for the 2 minis that came with it. Maybe because the install was all done as one job.
