I’m trying to open an account! Unable to online or over the phone!

My ex partner has cancelled his sky and broadband account at our address, both have now been cut off and I am trying to open my own account however the online order tool is asking me for an account which I don't have, I can't open one online, I have tried phoning to do this but was passed to three different departments, left on hold for 40 mins and then cut off - how hard can it be to give you my money!!
