I keep having to switch my sky q box off at the power socket to reset it and get it to come on. Also

Also the box does not react to commands from the remote.

Since this first started a few weeks ago I have since bought a new remote and the problem still persists.

Hi @Chuffer Try Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
Press the Home button on your Sky Q remote, highlight Settings then press 0,0,1 and Select.
Select Reset, then Reset settings and select Confirm.
Choosing any of the other reset options will wipe all recordings etc from your hard drive.
Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press the standby button on the front of your Sky Q box, instead of the Home button on your Sky Q remote.
You will need to re pair your remote after the reset, do this by pressing 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi @Quoman7 , I've done as you've suggested, it's a case of wait and see for a couple of days as to whether it has cured the problem.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks very much for the help 👍

I would like to speak to a human being not an AI message giving me options nor trying to find my problem on a website. Please give me a number that I can phone to speak to someone. Thank you

What I have found is if you go through that reset process, rightly it does not delete your recordings but it does delete all your favourites. My wife was not very happy as she had setup a lot of favourites and going through them to set up again.
