I have just recieved a new sky q box( the other one was faulty) and i get a no network message on so

I have just recieved a replacement sky q box but it has the message no network connection on some channels but works on others   .. any ideas before i request an engineer

Do you mean "No Satellite Signal"?

Yes  spoke to sky they say its a problem with sky dish

but you may end up needing to arrange an engineer to check your dish isn't out of alignment.
