I seem to have a faulty sky viewing card as says insert card constantly and done all the checks and resets, been online to sky as cannot watch TV and now been told we need engineer visit. but nothing for 2 weeks ! is that normal, i have asked to escalate to a manager as that seems unacceptable- been a custoemr for over 30 years

Any contact from a manager will probably advise that the only likelihood of an earlier visit is if someone cancels.

Thank you, that is exactly what i have experienced, My main Sky Q box has not worked properly, and as a result the 3 mini boxes have also not worked now for over 2 weeks and I am still awaiting the planned engineer visit on 14th July- lets hope they are able to then resolve what is abviously a hardware issue! - I have been told we will be compensated for the lack of service, but goodness knows what that actually means. i am very dissapointed after being a LOYAL customer for over 30 years, feeling let down by SKY
