I have changed my PIN but it still wont let me enter it in Sky Q

I forgot my pin, so I have done the reset using my last 4 digits of my bank, i have also done it on My Sky app and it still says its incorrect when i enter it, despite it saying it was successfully changed. Any ideas? Thank you.

@harps1609 when you say you have reset your pin number do you mean you have reset it to the default pin or you changed it to your last 4 digits of your bank account.

The default pin number is the last 4 digits of your viewing card number 

You can findyour viewing card number by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number

Maybe I misunderstood what it was asking me?

I thought I needed to use the last 4 digits of my account number to reset it? That is what I did, choose a new PIN which it said had been updated successfully, but it still doesn't work.

I tried on the Sky Q settings and the My Sky app with no success.

Am I right in thinking that my PIN would automatically change to the last 4 digits of my account number or last 4 digits of my veiwing card? I will try them when I am home.

Unless you've previously changed it, it will be the last four digits of your viewing card.

I had changed it ages ago but wouldn't accept the pin in thought it would now be.

On the my sky app, you can just change it but it doesn't work even though it says it's been changed successfully.

On the SkyQ change PIN section, it asks you to enter the last 4 digits of you bank account number to change it, I have done that, again it says it's has been successfully changed, but the PIN still doesn't. Maybe a fault but I really don't want to make a phone call.
