I have a new Q box. There is no signal tonight,

The message on the screen says NO SIGNAL.   New Q box.

Hi @Albert+Street 

No Signal

This is a message from your TV saying that it is not receiving the output from your Q box.

Make sure that your TV is switched to the correct HDMI input for the Q box.

 

If it was an issue with the Q box signal it would be No Satellite signal

I have had the same issue. But in my settings, the satellite signal is fine. All day it has been like this.

As explained in the reply to the original post, the 'no signal' message is from your tv, not your Sky Q box. It means there's an issue with the connection between your Sky Q box and your tv. Check that the HDMI is firmly connected at both ends.
