What are you trying to do? You mention airdropping but you've posted on the Sky Q board.

If you are referring to the use of Apple AirPlay to send video to a Sky Q box, then that's not possible.  You'd need an AirPlay 2 capable device such as an Apple TV box connected to the television set over HDMI cable.

 

AirDrop is a proprietary mechanism for file transfer to other local Apple devices.
