I cant watch anything on discovery plus

I saw i could get discovery plus for free as a tnt sport customer. So i signed up input the code but it wont let me watch anything. Just says you need to upgrade. Can anybody help please?

I have exactly the same issue, can log in with the SKY Q generated code having set up a discovery plus account but asked to upgrade pass when I try to watch a programme. 

Really poor online support from SKY would be great to get resolution and a step by step solution guide on this forum, as obviously this seems to be a common issue.

Meticulously.

I can log into the Discovery plus app on SkyQ so access isn't a problem and as the code is presumably Sky generated I assume that means that both my Sky account and Discovery account should be linked. I have TNT sports package and that is available on UHD on Discovery hence tried to set up last night. Spent a frustrating 2 hours trying and have decided to cancel my Discovery account on their website and start trying to set up again but that apparently can take up to 30 days.

Just in case anyone is in the same predicament, Discovery plus deleted my account within 24 hours. Have followed the instructions again verbatim from the Sky website and now watching football in UHD on TNT via the Discovery plus app on Sky.

So if anyone is having the same problem and being able to log into the Discovery plus app but then being asked to upgrade pass when trying to watch a program just contact Discovery plus via their website and follow their instructions on how to delete your account. Once this is done just start the process again and fingers crossed you will the get it all set up correctly.
