Is it a recording from a live channel or is it a programme you have downloaded from Catch up/On demand ?

Have you made any changes to your subscription ?

Have you downloaded the HD version but don't  have the HD subscription? You can set default downloads to SD in the settings menu, so this won't happen in future.
