I can’t get subtitles on itv x my tv is not a smart tv

I can't get subtitles on itvx.Do I need to buy a smart tv?

@DebussyYou should be able to use the box, from Sky's help files.

"Subtitles To turn subtitles on when watching a programme, press Select on your Sky Q remote, and select the S button. This won't work if you try it when the adverts are on."

Hi @Debussy   If subtitles are available for the particular programme you are watching:

On your Sky Q remote > Direction Up -> Direction Right-> Direction Right-> Subtitles On.
