I can't connect my SkyQ mini to my new Google Wi-Fi

I have sky Q and sky broadband. I've been using the sky router with a repeater to give me my Wi-Fi signal across the house, plus Sky multi room. I've just upgraded my router to a Google nest with a repeater, to get better Wi-Fi signal across the house. I've plugged the Google nest into the Sky Rita, and disable the Wi-Fi on the Sky Router.

I've managed to connect my main skybox to the router with an ethernet cable and also checked that it is connected via the Wi-Fi to the same Wi-Fi network, But I now can't connect my sky Q mini for the multi room to The main box I go through the steps, but when I press the button on the main box, the mini doesn't seem to pick it up, even though the mini is in a room, that's got a good Wi-Fi signal when I do a Speedtest on my phone.

any help would be great as not sure what to try next

hi @Dave-S

unfortunately SKy mini's won't connect to 3rd party wifi.

If your provider or wifi is 3rd party & not SKY then the minis will try to connect to a wifi generated by the main box - which may not be near enough

@Dave-S

One possibility may be to connect a Sky booster to a Nest node over ethernet cable.

A Mini connected directly to a Nest node over ethernet cable may also work.
