We have not been using the sky box for Bout 9 months because we might bed rooms. We finally got an engineer out to move the cables to the new room so we can watch sky and now I can't access any of the apps, recordings etc.

That probably suggests the box needs to receive a signal to confirm it is still associated with a valid Sky subscription because it hasn't been connected to a dish for so long.

Thank you. What does that mean and what do I need to do to fix it. It have been plugged in for about 3 hours now and it's not changed.
