My sky sub is up to date. My system has been switched off and unplugged for two months while I have been away. When I switched it back on it seemed ok in that I could access these features. The there were was a software update which I accepted. Now I can't access home, recordings or catch up. I can access live tv channels only. The screen message says I need to upgrade my subscription. I am not trying to download. I have my settings set to download in HD. Can anyone help ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYou may have to call Sky. The system is not designed to be off for that period of time. There are 'keep alive' signals sent via satellite to keep the subscription active.

Thanks it resolved itself after I rebooted switched off and then left it on overnight. Probably because it had been off completely for two months while I was away. So I better leave it on in future.
