My sky q setup
26 Apr 2023 06:03 PM
I have been sent a box without a card, so how do I watch it? This is poor from the outset and I was looking forward to watching the match today

Do you have a Sky Q viewing card and if so is it correctly inserted in your main Q box?
(Chip up and chip end in first)
Edit
Your other post says you have been sent a box without a card.
Is this a replacement box and if so you should have kept your viewing card from the original box.

It's a new box so I don't have a card

No engineer was allocated, I was just sent the box and I'm being g charged with no viewing card. I was expecting to watch the match tonight

a) you are a new customer in which case an engineer would have set up your box, dish and made sure it was working, or
b) you are a returning Sky Q customers who has been sent a box as part of a self-install but you had already sent your old viewing card back to Sky.

@Isaac+allotey so are you a returning customer who has previously had Sky Q ?

Yes I had sky Q and then bought the Glass, sent back the old boxes and now back to SkyQ

Sky, rightly or wrongly, think customers will have retained the card for just this type of scenario. You will have to call Sky and request a new card which will be posted out to you.

Great but this is poor customer service as it should be part today the sales pitch to ensure customer has a vcard.

HOWEVER
You should be able to use Sky Go via a PC etc. to watch anything. If it is a laptop you should if it has the right outputs connect it to your TV and use it that way.
