How to speak to Sky when your in your 80's and dont have a mobile or internet

I am an independent aerial and satellite engineer and today went to an elderly customer whose sky q box has stopped working. Carried out the usual steps and can't get it to work. The customer is in her eighties and her husband who is the account holder is in hospital terminally ill. She has no mobile phone or internet but every time you phone a sky number all that happens is they try to send you text to get you online then terminate the call. This type of customer service totally discriminates against the elderly. Can someone tell me how this lady can get a replacement box

While this is a sad situation, the elderly have mobiles and the internet so I don't think it does discriminate (and it would be a legal matter if it did because age is a protected characteristic)

 

You also can't use Q without internet access afaik.

 

Might be worth contacting the accessibility team?
