How to get paid YouTube content to play on Sky Q through the YouTube app?

I'm trying to watch movies I've paid for through YouTube but the app won't let it happen.

 

Every other device I've used YouTube on this isn't an issue.

 

 

Why are sky not allowing me to access this? Is it because they think I'll spend money again with them?

This has always been the case with the Sky Q Youtube app as detailed here in the Sky help article;

 

Unfortunately, it's not currently possible to watch Paid content on YouTube, or watch YouTube in 4k.
