You need to contact Sky to give your 31 days notice.
If you are within a minimum term then you cannot cancel.

What if it was free for a month never seen that you had to give 1 month notice

It's in the contract you agreed. If it's a 'free' month then you have to give notice on the same day as getting it.

Re: How to cancel sky sports
The whole point of a "Free Month" is to give you an oppertunity to try the service. It's ridiculous to suggest someone should have to cancel the same day as they get it. I have the same problem, I received a text asking if I was enjoying the service about a week after it started. I was invited to cancel if I did'nt want it. I tried, several times, but the link to the cancel site did'nt work. Now I have to phone in to cancel and of course, pay for a month of a service I don't want. My tip, never, but never trust a "Free" offer.

Re: How to cancel sky sports
Might be worth getting a screenshot of that failing cancellation link and using it as leverage to get a refund on the additional time.

Re: How to cancel sky sports
The link was on a Text message, which I deleated. I phoned in and managed to speak to a real person, they were very helpfull. Assured me I would be contacted by sky nearer the end of the Sky Sports Sampling Period. I asked if it could be an email not a text. I have recently received such an email. I completed the reply stating I did not want to add the offered sevices to my account. Received a confirmation email in reply. Checked my account today and yes one part of the sevices has been removed, but not all. My next bill shows I will be charged for a full month for this unwanted service. So, back to the phone and try to speak to a real person. Do you not find it annoying, that on the My Sky website it is made so very easy to add sevices, but impossible to cancel them?
