How to book an Engineer to fix Sky Q box

Does anyone know how I can book an Engineer to fix multiroom Sky q box? It's constantly on standby. I have tried all trouble shooting fixes, I have tried ringing Sky and it send you back to online account saying you can book an engineer online but I cant see anywhere I can do this. Just going round in circles at the moment, thanks

You can order a replacement box here after completing the checks: https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-q/fixing-sky-q/fixing-q-equipment/sky-q-box-wont-turn-on...

Hi @MB555

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.
Failing this

You need to contact Sky Directly.

If you need to contact them you need to persevere by phone.
To contact Sky
Select Need more help
at the bottom of the following link and this will lead to a phone contact.

@MB555

Remember to remove the viewing card before handing the box over to a courier.

Edit: only for a main Q box, not a Q Mini.

Can anyone help in letting me know how to book an engineer visit. Lots of info to track one thats been booked but not to actually book. Already got through and had delivered a replacement SkyQ box but this hasn't solved the problem.

Re: How to book an Engineer to fix Sky Q box

Hi I can't book an engineer. Having so many problems with Sky. No TV over Christmas and now no Internet or TV. No satellite signal. So frustrating and no way of booking an engineer. Las time it took 7 days for someone to arrive, can anyone help me on how I get in touch with Sky, tried calling and no reply and can't find link online to book a visit?

@Louiseburke
To call Sky dial 150 (free) from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile or alternatively use the following link which will lead to contact details which will hopefully (but not always unfortunately) include a phone number
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number.

The posting of full phone numbers isn’t permitted on the forum.

Any calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Alternative means of contact are:
(a) through the Sky Virtual Assistant on the same page - depending on your query, which can connect you with a live agent virtually if necessary or provide you with the contact number or
(b) via Skys social media sites (the links are at the bottom of this page).

The lines may be busier than usual due to the damage and disruption caused by Storms Éowyn and Herminia.

The posts above say it's better to call them

I think the troubleshooter on sky.com might end with that but there's no direct "oi, send an engineer" link because it would overload the resources.
