How often do offers of upgrades from Sky + to Sky Q come up? My box is not fit for purpose as can no longer watch content I am paying for . After 24 years with Sky I'm not happy to have to pay for upgrade. Can't cancel yet as tied in for another year

@Bella24 No one on the forum can tell you how often offers will come up as we have no insight into future offers from Sky, given you're in a discounted term currently it would be unlikely you will get any further offers until that period has expired.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

TBH I think it is quite rare that they won't upgrade for free but often the free upgrade comes with 'strings' or is limited

@Bella24 give Sky a call and tell them you're keen to upgrade to Sky Q but don't want to pay more. See what they can offer you.

Yep, even thought they're in a contract, Sky will always be happy to tie you down to a new longer term one.

Sky want people off plus and onto Q at least or better yet Stream so I would have thought they'll come up with something.

also your box isn't fit for purpose as it can't even do HD, a 20 year old technology now (and that makes me feel very old suddenly!).
