Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreToday's the day! Big excitement. I don't think either of my TVs have an app either though. Might have to check it out on the PC.

I agree it is a bit lacking on Apple TV boxes.
My old LG TV hasn't got it available and my Philips has it available but Philips and/or Google don't have the rights to use it yet on the TV.

hi @KayStJohn
I am afraid you can't add (or delete) apps to SKY Q
The apps are added by SKY only - as you may read on the discssion this is now on - the ITV X app may appear in the future on SKY Q but we don't think so before the new year - but it is not definite
edit : BTW we did think the ITV Hub app was coming to SKY Q but it never did

It was noted a couple of weeks ago that the app is on SkyQ but it's still in the background so it's most likely still being tested though when (or if) it launches it still unknown (though I'm more inclined to think it will launch before long)...

Find out moreNaughty of Sky not to keep Q subscribers better informed, but also not helpful of ITV to delay their 'official' launch date into December when Sky historically don't make significant changes to platforms because of lower support staff availability.

I think it's awful sky have prioritised sky glass customers for itv x
That may well not be through choice: as I noted above ITV have been messing the platform providers around on release date(s), and Sky really don't want seven million Q subscribers to get a dodgy roll-out with only one full working week left before Xmas.

Was that a reliable source? That kind of info isn't easy to come by.

It's viewable in the 'XML file' which can be accessed via your browser and shows the Apps currently on the platform as well those that haven't been launched and/or being tested.

Does anyone know how to access ITVX on Sky Q?
I've updated the software (had to Google how to do that) but still cannot find ITVX anywhere.
I have a Panasonic smart TV but my only other device is my iPhone (I don't have a pic, laptop or tablet) and I want to watch ITVX on my TV.

It hasn't been rolled out on to Sky Q yet. No confirmed date for it yet either.

Please can I refer you to the previous replies on this discssion (where your post may have been moved to)
Unfortunately, as you have found Panasonic TVs as yet don't seem to have been updated althoughI suspect it won't be too long.
I have it on my Amazon Firesticks but I had to uninstall the ITV Hub app on one and re-install it & it then identified as ITV X

Perhaps worth noting that some Panasonics won't get ITVX.
Panasonic TV 2016 D MT5810
Panasonic TV 2015 C MT5595, Diga
Panasonic TV 2018 F HD MT5581
This is also the case for some other brands:
