Possibly. Won't work until it gets a lot better 😁

Re: How do I find ITVX

Just checked this morning, still not available on my LGTV, and the mate of mine has got it on a Samsung TV but they say they've got no permission to share it yet, and that's why he can't access the app on his TV yet..

and ITVHub is very sluggish and slow this morning, so something clearly is going wrong at ITV. Maybe they launched it too early when everything is not up and running, one thing, good about  Sky they don't release any new updates or apps until it's properly tested,

I hope that this app ITVX will have audio description on their platform, it is a disgrace, that the British TV companies do not have audio description on their app  content unlike the American platform is Netflix Disney+ prime.

Ofcom needs to rattle some cages and get things moving when it comes to audio description on on demand content, and stop worrying about the silly complaints on Twitter.

Came up on one of my LG tvs this morning but no live ITV channels showing at present.  The app on Roku is fine and operating fully.

Re: How do I find ITVX

It is very poor that Sky haven't made ITVX app available for Sky Q customers on the ITVX launch date.

@Paul+28

ITVX is not a Sky app: the clue is in the name.

No-one outside the process knows how or why this situation has evolved, but it is perhaps worth noting it was ITV themselves who chose to postpone their launch date from October to December when historically Sky don't make changes to their platforms.

Re: How do I find ITVX

This is inaccurate.  Sky do add apps to their platform.  Apple TV+, Paramount+, etc.  iPlayer is an app on Sky Q also and there are others listed.

@Paul+28 you are missing tne point that @TimmyBGood is making the app is not owned by Sky and therfore if there are delays then could be down to ITV as per his further comments

What is inaccurate? I'm guessing you replied to a specific post but this forum doesn't automatically quote or link to it when you do that.

Re: How do I find ITVX

I can't get ITVx via Sky Q but I was able to play it on my iPad and mirror it onto my TV using Apple TV.

Hopefully that will help anyone with an Apple TV box.

Absolutely, and none of those are Sky apps either.  Primary responsibility for release date and technical compatibility is with the app owner, not Sky.

Re: How do I find ITVX

Thanks.  I understand the apps are not owned by Sky but you would have thought that since so many people use Sky who presumambly in the main watch content on their TV that it would be in ITV and Sky's interest to work together to bring it to all those people.  If Apple TV and others have got their act together for ITVX app on their systems why haven't Sky.  I don't believe its a realease date change that accounts for the app not being available on Sky yet.  I also suspect that far more people have modern TV's that are not SMART TV's with manually installable app capability so need SKy to provide the app.  I also think Foxcom are smart enough to do a deal with ITVX to host the ITVX app on Sky platforms.

I think it's reasonable to assume there was every intention of doing so, but things didn't go well enough for a release this close to the start of the Christmas holiday period to be considered safe enough to deploy to seven million subscribing households.

I have the ITVX appon my Firetv Stick which was updated from iTV hub yesterday still no update onmy LG tv yet don't normally watch iTv as it's rubbish.

And most of my viewing is via the Firetv Stick whilst Sky Q takes a back seat waiting for the new F1 season to start, I have a smart tv but not fussed if the iTVX apps doesn't appear on  my tv or  Sky Q until next year.
