How can you disconnect a broken SKY Q remote to enable a new one to be connected

Good Morning - Can anyone advise on how to disconnect a broken Sky Q remote to enable a new remote to be connected

You don't need to. Just by pairing a new remote automatically overrides the last known remote settings so it doesn't matter if the old remote is lost or faulty.

As mentioned above, a pairing of a new remote will remove the previous one.

Press and hold 7&9 until remote LED flashes 4 times. This unpairs the bluetooth connection

Which, of course, cannot be done if the old one is broken
