Hi @Mullen-17   To be clear you have connected your Mini Sky Q box to the Main Sky Q box via power line adapters? It won't work if you connected the Mini to the BT Router.

  • The main box is connected to router via wifi and the mini in the man cave is connected via (bt mini wifi home hotspot kit with wired av600) it does work as i have seen it but only for 5 seconds at a time then can't get both boxes to connect at all

hi @Mullen-17

When you have 3rd party wifi (e.g. BT) then the SKY mini will connect to the main box via a wifi generated by the main box.

If that is not good enough then you can connect the mini directly to the main box via ethernet or indirectly via a router or unmanaged switch but both Main & mini must be connected via ethernet

Hi I can't connect the main box through Ethernet as the tv is on the wall and all cables hidden with the router in different room, and the mini is at the back of the garden p.s this a old photo hence the Christmas tree

Hi @Mullen-17   It should work if you connect the Main Sky Q box to the router by Ethernet (not WiFi). If it is the only Mini box then turn off WiFi on both boxes for the most stable system.

hi @Mullen-17 in which case I am not too sure how you can get it to work

It should if your provider was SKY & not BT but I think that may not quite be what you are looking for

@Mullen-17If you use powerline connected to the main and mini box by Ethernet it should work. You need to leave 2.4Ghz on in the main Q box but you can turn of 5Ghz in the main box and all WiFi off in the mini bkx.
