Hello have problem with the new sky boxes one up stairs main box down stairs but my daughter records her programs up stairs but I get her recording  when I want to record different  program so how can we solve this because this is annoyig

hi @witchespot9 

I am afraid on SKY Q you cannot separate recordings - all recordings are  stored on the main box & there is no User profile type system and all recordings are availble on both boxes (except UHD recordings which can only be watched  on the main box)

Although after your switch to Q, you may still  also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

@witchespot9 all recordings are saved on the main Q box and are available for any of the boxes to see/play

Hi @witchespot9   That is the way Sky Q is designed to work. The Main Sky Q box is the server which holds all the recordings and the Mini box is just a thin client. The Mini box does not have any facility to store recordings. It looks like nobody explained to you how Sky Q works. I take it you have moved from the old Sky+HD Multiroom. Sky Q is a completely different system.
