Hi, im new ti sky q and am finding the restart programme prompt very annoying. Can this function be

I find the Restart programme prompt when i change channel annoying, can i turn this off. Thanks

That's going to be expensive if you're outside the initial cooling-off period, you'd need to pay off all the remaining months of your contract

Just press the back up button on the remote when the prompt appears.

 

If you're willing to cancel a contract because of 1 trivial annoyance then good luck finding another provider who satisfies your requirements.

It was a replacement for my old sky hd my contract wasnt renewed  so no cost to me at all.

I assume the mention of cost was connected to your suggestion of cancelling your subscription. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.

@Stuart1973 I don't think the responses indicated "delight that you would have to pay" merely a warning of what you might expect.
