Hi had a new media wall fitted now sky Q box is behind the false wall and I can’t get it to work I thought the signal from the remote was Bluetooth and not infrared

Hi @Williecl 

It is Bluetooth when correctly paired.

However to pair it does need line of sight.

With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times. (This sets the remote to infrared mode).  Next step needs line of sight to Qbox.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi thanks for the reply I followed those steps still never worked I need to pull the tv out and go right close to the box

As I said @Williecl 

In infrared it needs line of sight (to the Q box infrared sensor)

I would get one of these to mitigate against issues like this again in the future.
