Hi guys,problem i am having is the tv i have hooked up to Sky Q box will not fire up!

Try switching the Q box back to native 1080i video output. 

On the Q remote press the following buttons: 

HOME, 1, 0, 8, 0, HOME

See if that gives you any picture.

Thank you so much... i phoned Sky yesterday and the only advise they could give me was they would send Engineer on the 1st July.

That's apparently an older set which cannot support UHD (it's probably'HD Ready' or 'Full HD') : the advice @Padam_Padam provided changes the output of the Q box to HD.

Strange you say that regards tv because its a Panasonic i bought which I'd assumed was modern.

Panasonic SMART Android HDR TV TX-32MS490B (2023) 32" LED Full HD Freeview Play.

But problem has been solved and thats the main thing.... thanks again
