Hi I have a skyq box connected to a Samsung smart tv. The light on the box is green but on pic on tv

The sky remote red light is not coming on when buttons are pressed so not sure if it's a sky remote problem or a skyq box problem

Hi @Bav2 

First make sure that the TV is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Just for info the light on the Q remote will only illuminate Witt the Question mark ❓ button and the Microphone button.

it feels like the remote is only switching things on and off and not doing much else.

Hi @Bav2 

Have you tried completly resetting the remote?

Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
