We have bought a new TV. When on hdmi source it states resolution not compatible to external device and will not find sky.

Tried this so many times it does nothing sadly. Just have hdmi not supported resolution not supported change external device resolution. @MightyQuinn

Almost all new TV's should support any resolution the Sky box would throw at it.

It's not the tv we took it back yesterday put new TV up and its doing the same. Had sky engineer put twice and of course it worked on the day. Its so frustrating. Its Samsung they struggled to help. @MightyQuinn

Changed lead 3 times sky gave a new one to try. So should work. @

Doesn't seem to come with the OneConnect box so that can't be the problem.
