You can go dishless if you're happy to switch to the Sky Stream service which is quite different to Sky Q.

Stream relies entirely on you having fast and stable broadband in order for it to function. It also does not record, instead you add programmes to a playlist and play them back on demand. (If they are available.)

It works brilliantly for some people and terribly for others. It's worth a try and you can always revert back to Sky Q if it doesn't work for you. You'll still need a dish but Sky can re-install it once your extension is built.

If you decide to stay with Sky Q Sky will charge in the region of £65 to move the dish and cables, providing of course there is still a suitable place for the dish with the required line of sight.
