Have wyrestorm 4 way splitter hdmi over ethernet with sky + box. Want replicate with sky q - what’s

Hi have wyrestorm 4 way hdmi over  ethernet splitter /baluns with sky+ box. Works perfectly with it emotes in each room Thinking of changing to sky q or  sky over fiber. What splitter system would work well ?

Hi @warrenwb is there a reason why your current splitter system wouldn't work with Sky Q or Sky Stream?

Hi thanks very much your response- I am concerned if the technical output characteristics of the boxes are meaningfully different and will cause problems. Thinking particularly about HDCP type.

Also concerned about if /how remotes will work in the various rooms.

Fair comment @warrenwb your current splitter system if it wasn't HDCP compliant wouldn't you get a message on your tv saying " HDCP is not supported on this screen"
Do you have the model number for the current splitter please so I can google the specifications

Thanks for that @warrenwb looking at the specs for your splitter it supports HDCP but no version number

Also this may help Sky Q boxes specs

Also look for the HDMI versions for the different Sky Q boxes.

Thanks. As it's an old model suspect it won't support HDCP 2.2 - I think I will change to a newer device - thinking of the FOURKAY range / extender - don't need the matrix anymore. Do you have any feedback / knowledge of FOURKAY kit ?
