@wearetheangrymob perhaps Discovery have updated the app and introducede this problem it wouldn't be the first time they have updated the app and caused problems

I have also been having the same problem. Everytime I use discovery plus, accept cookies scan qr code log in. I left the app to check something on another app came back within 10 mins and had to accept cookies and sign in with QR code. Its very annoying

This is not a new issue. I posted originally about this problem in April 2023. It is still happening it is simply that Sky or Discovery choose not to do anything about it

Same here since Friday 19th July. Called sky and did everything they told me and nothing changed. They then said it was a problem and a lot of there customers were experiencing the same thing and sky will send me an email once sorted but to date I have had no email and I have to sign in everytime which is a ball ache!

Why on earth should I reset when it's clearly a Sky / Discovery+ problem 😂 I'm not risking breaking links or losing recordings.

I have been having this issue too, however I've only noticed it since the Crowd Strike fiasco & it seems that all is not well. I think both WBD & Sky need to check things & do more than just reboot .

It can be due to a bug, report it to the official site with your TV Model details and other things related to get it fixed. The help desk usually responds soon - Vist here :https://help.discoveryplus.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

@Darshan Mine has been doing this like many other since before, seems its the sky-wbd lottery except we dont win anything. Instead we have to spend more time trying to log in 😞

Well I've found out that my main 2TB sky Q box is working fine as are all the apps I use from the app rail.
So that leaves the mini box & I unplugged it for over 10 minutes & have fired back up & it's gone through all the usual blank screens to be ready for start up & even that worked great.
However same issue with mini box so I'm going to give Sky a call now & hopefully I will have an update later.

Hi just got off the phone to a customer services gentleman & told him the issue.
He told me that it has already been reported & they have the relevant teams working on a solution.
So it looks like that we may all get a patch fixing the issue but no time line .
I hope this helps anyone else apart from us 2 suffering the same issue.
In short. Main Sky Q 2TB works fine no issues at all but it's my mini box where it is. I also checked all the other apps on the main box & all work fine but hopefully it's just the minibus & discovery + & the rest work great.

Yay, I am glad they are addressing the issue.
Fingers crossed for a prompt fix... driving me mad to keep signing in via QR.
