Have to keep signing in to discovery plus. Works ok when signed in but next time go to use it have to sign in again. Seen similar post to this but no answer was forthcoming.

I don't sign out, i just use the back up button. the same with all the apps. Netflix i do as it is my daughters account and seperate to sky.

Discovery+ seems to sign out automatically if it's not used for a while.

@xenon81 You are right, had to re activate it again with the code. This will mean have to go onto app regularly. Bit of a pain.

I've just had to reactivate with a new code for the second time this year (2024), but discovery isn't the only channel. I've had to do it with my5, c4, and itvx, so maybe it's something to do with sky or just these channels, it could be annoying but it doesn't take long to do and also I've never logged out of an app or been asked to log in through my sky q box.

My neighbour doesn't have a computer so I have to keep doing it for her. It is ridiculous. Once you have it it shouldn't keep disappearing.

This has been happening to me since Saturday. It will keep sending me back to the activate my device link. After doing this 2 or 3 times it will eventually let me into my account. Sky and Discovery+ don't seem to have an answer. I've even sent Discovery+ screenshots of what I'm having to do but all they have replied with is what's on their help page. As previously stated this has only been happening since Saturday and haven't had to do it since I initially made my account 8 months ago. I watch via their app on Sky stream.

Having same issue. Used to have to sign in again periodically but been to the app 2 or 3 times this morning and had to sign in each time. Could be frustrating with the Olympics upcoming if it isn't sorted!

Having the same issue since yesterday. Every time I start the app I have to activate it via the QR code. No problems with other apps or Discovery plus on other devices.

I am having the same issue having to sign in every time use the Discovery + app on the main Sky Q Box, started for me a few days ago. Interestingly it is not a problem on my associated sky Q mini box. So I suggested to to a bug in the app downloaded for the main sky Q box ...

Since the Olympics option appeared I have had to sign into the app every time. I note that this is a problem identified by others. Have tried to contact Sky but so far have been unable to speak to a person?
Have also had problems signing into Netflix on main skyQ box TV but have no problem on multi room TV???

I have the same issue. I have to sign in and authorise my Sky device every time I use the app, be that daily or even on the same day. Also the QR code provided to authorise my Sky Q box opens the discover + App which fails to allow authorisation... So I have to go to the site manually to re-authorise. Very frustrating and appalling waste of time. Sky and Discovery + need to get their act together!
